Summer
Flumet is the heart of the Valley of Arly and located on the Route of the Grand Alpes, the surroundings are stunning.
It is the centre for hiking with 100 km of marked trails and panoramic views of the Mont Blanc. Guides are always available.
You can swim in the small lake near the chalet, in the summer bath superintendent.
Mountainbiking/VTT: the Arly Valley is centre 10 of the French Cycling Federation: Fédération Française de Cyclisme.
Flumet is the starting point of many routes: 300 km marked roads and trails.
In the summer you can take the bicycle free on the chair lift les Evettes and on many other lifts of the 8 villages, together the “Circuit de Diamant Vert”, which are open some days and hours.
You can go climbing on the wall of the castle and at several other locations.

- Genève (old city!), Lausanne with the Olympic museum
- Courmayeur and Aosta with the Roman theatre in Italy
- Cheese farms: Beaufort, Reblochon.

- The tour of the lake of Annecy via Giettaz, Col des Aravis (1498 m), la Clusaz, Thônes, back to the lake via Veyrier, Chavoire.
- Annecy: the old city, park, palace, castle, basilica of the Visitation, the old episcopal palace. Back via the lake, Saint-Jorioz and the Gorges of the Arly.
